RegKey "PendingFileRenameOperations" gets created when copying files to VM

I've installed the current VMWare Workstation 7.0.1 build-227600 on a Windows 7 x64 machine.  If I drag any file from my desktop into the VM I notice that the regkey for rebooting gets set.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager

"PendingFileRenameOperations" REG_MULTI_SZ

value = \??\C:\Users\ADMINI~1\AppData\Local\Temp\VMwareDnD\f5326509\

This key usually tells setups that a reboot is needed or pending.  I simply copy in file "New Text Document.txt", and the key is created within the VM.  I've reproduced this with a Windows Server 2003 and 2008 VM images, both have been updated with VMWare tools.  Can anyone else reproduce this?

Thanks,
